pest control technician (Winchester) compensation: Tech paid incentive base can make 600-1350 a week employment type: full-time We are looking for a pest control technician to join the Insect Control Department at our rapidly growing residential service company. **NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**. The technician will be joining a results-driven organization and will be a contributing member of the team working in conjunction with the department manager. After successfully onboarding and participating in our paid training program, the candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring all their needs are met. The candidate will help our customers and the surrounding community remediate unwanted and invasive pest concerns. About Us Ned Stevens has been in business since 1965. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas Handling and safely mixing pesticides per state and federal regulations The ability to walk customer’s property while carrying equipment weight up to 40lbs Keep company vehicles clean and well-organized Willingness and ability to work flexible hours Explain service procedures to customers Key Competencies Learn and adhere to all company procedures and ensure customer satisfaction standards Legal and responsible chemical handling Must be self-motivated and maintain a strong work ethic Customer service driven Strong verbal communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently Detailed oriented Ability to quickly learn core business functions Ability to work alone and without direct supervision Qualifications Pest control experience is not required but it is preferred NJ operator license or certified applicator preferred Position requirements: ability to lift equipment up to 40lbs, carry, kneel, and bend for extended periods Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Valid Driver’s license Additional Highlights Pay: $600 to $1350 per week Start Time: 7:00am | End Time: 3:30pm Work Days: Monday to Friday; Saturday during peak season (April-October) Health Insurance 401(k) Plan Licensing costs will be paid for by the company Incentive Programs Job Type: Full-time Pay: $600.00 - $1,350.00 per week Benefits: 401(k) Health Insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends COVID-19 considerations: - Majority of time spent in the field and out of the office. - Each person in the office is required to wear a mask. - Janitorial service 3x/week, office sanitized 1x/week - Temperature checks are taken daily and we provide common PPE to all team members Location: Fairfield, NJ 07004 (Required) License: Mass Pesticide License Work Location: Winchester, Boston On the road Pay Frequency: Weekly Benefit Conditions: Waiting period may apply Work Remotely: No COVID-19 Precaution(s): Remote interview process Personal protective equipment provided or required Temperature screenings Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
