Description
Park-like farm has opening for morning horse stable help. Must be dependable, on time, have reliable transportation, a cell phone and a good work ethic. Prior horse handling experience preferred, but will train the right person. This is a permanent part-time position. Hours are 9 am to 12:30 pm Sunday thru Friday. Monday thru Friday is also possible. Responsibilities include turning out and bringing in horses, rinsing in summer, cleaning stalls, bedding stalls, grooming, watering, feeding lunch and light maintenance. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Will also consider free or reduced board for one gelding in exchange for work. Please do not apply if you have been furloughed and are awaiting recall.
