The player bought the ticket for the $500,000 Crossword game, which is a $20 scratch-off that has a grand prize worth half a million dollars.
Towson News Stand in Towson Town Center at 825 Dulaney Valley Road sold the ticket this week, according to the Maryland Lottery.
Lottery players won nearly $30 million statewide from Feb. 8 to Feb. 14, officials reported, including the $10,000 scratch-off in Towson.
