What are the differences between Shiraz, Syrah, and Petite Sirah? Join us to taste 9 beautiful wines and learn what makes them unique If you love inky, full-bodied, and powerful red wines this tasting is for you! While Syrah and Shiraz are the same grape, the wines made from them display different characteristics depending on where the grapes are grown. As for Petite Sirah, (aka Durif) it is related to Syrah/Shiraz but there is nothing 'Petite' about it! Join us for an evening of swirling, sipping, and purple smiles:) The wine bottles will be hidden in brown bags so you will need to rely on your own senses, experience and preferences to evaluate each wine. After each flight, attendees will be asked to vote on their favorite wine in that category. 9 wines will be served with a variety of fine cheeses and small appetizers, created by our Chef Ann.
