POINT PLEASANT BORO — The Rite Aid location in Point Pleasant Boro has been identified as a COVID-19 vaccine site, according to the company and state officials. New Jersey added Rite Aid stores to its list of public COVID-19 vaccine sites for eligible recipients, and one of them is the pharmacy at 3258 Bridge Ave. The state's vaccine hub website now has listed a number of Rite Aid stores in towns in New Jersey and asked people to sign up here: https://www.riteaid.com/pharmacy/covid-qualifier Gov. Phil Murphy confirmed that 74 Rite Aid locations received vaccine shipments. State officials expected Rite Aid to only receive about 7,500 doses in the initial shipment.
