HOBOKEN, NJ — After a weekend ice storm caused 18,000 New Jersey residents to lose power, a transformer explosion near 14th Street and Park Avenue in Hoboken on Tuesday morning caused more power outages and road closures. Crews were still working after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, while CVS and the gym next door were temporarily closed. Within the last few mins, Another transformer explosion in the area of 14th-15th and Park Ave in @CityofHoboken .
