WASHINGTON COUNTY, MN— A total of 28,385 residents— or 11.1 percent of the county— have received at least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, according to the latest numbers from the Minnesota Department of Health. Of those, 10.191 residents — or 4 percent of the county — have received both doses. In Minnesota overall, 675,329 people have received at least one dose. About 238,104 people, or 4.2 percent of the state, have received both doses. In all, 936,100 vaccines have been shipped to Minnesota providers, and 221,950 vaccines have been shipped to long-term care facilities for the CDC long-term care vaccination program.
