WESTLAKE, OH — Five Westlake police officers were honored for their work in the past year. During a ceremony at City Hall, officers whose "efforts exemplified the department's commitment to its mission to protect and serve our community" were honored by Mayor Dennis Clough and others. "It should be noted that these selfless officers did not seek out recognition for their actions but deserve it nonetheless," a city official told Patch. Here are the honored officers: Pt.
