Selects John Walt Foundation as Nonprofit Hero For February 2021 The John Walt Foundation is a Nonprofit Organization, formed after the tragic death of Walter Long Jr., who was an up and coming hip-hop artist, known as, "John Walt", in the City of Chicago.  During his career, John Walt used his ambition and creativity to bring happiness to others through his music.  Walt's determination to live out his dream, while spreading positivity with his art, inspired the formation of this foundation, which supports inner-city artists working towards the same goal.  The John Walt Foundation empowers and supports youth across multiple artistic platforms.  The foundation partners professional artists with aspiring young artists to mentor them, build their futures, and embolden their creative souls by helping them pave the road to success.  Watch to learn more from Nachelle Pugh, Executive Director of the John Walt Foundation, and Attorney Jennifer S.
