CORNELIUS, NC — Police made four arrests in Cornelius recently, for charges that included an assault on a female, driving while impaired and shoplifting, according to the most recent police blotter. At least five incidents of larceny were also reported at Home Depot in Cornelius recently, police said. Arrests made by Cornelius Police Department between Feb. 3 — Feb. 9, 2021: Dillon Greyson Webber, 21, was arrested Feb. 5 on Meadow Crossing and Old Statesville Road, charged with felony extradition/fugitive OTH State Lemuel Lorenzo Jones, 41, was arrested Feb. 6 on Bailey Road at Oakurst Boulevard, charged with assault on a female. Nestor Javier Rondon-Gonzalez, 47, was arrested Feb. 6 on West Catawba Avenue at Copely Drive, charged with driving while impaired. Pierce Robert Gormley, 28, was arrested Feb. 9 on Torrence Chapel Road, charged with common law robbery, injury to personal property and shoplifting concealment goods.
