GoldenWest Management, Inc has is looking for a Residential Maintenance Technician to conduct onsite repairs for a 100 Unit Mobile Home Park in Escondido. Not required to live Onsite…The Maintenance technician will work with a Maintenance Chief in order to efficiently respond, trouble shoot and repair property work orders. In addition, the Maintenance Technician will handle Unit turnovers as well as oversee third party vendors assigned to work at the Portfolio from time to time. Key Responsibilities & Duties: • Ensure all service requests and repairs are made correctly and in a timely manner • Prepare vacant units for future renters • Utilize Property Management software to track and close assigned work orders • Communicate effectively with residents, co-workers, vendors and supervisors • Ensure all Property equipment and system are in working condition • Assist in the upkeep of the grounds and amenities including pool • Provide preventative and corrective maintenance throughout the property • Inspect grounds, buildings, and other community features as required to minimize liability concerns • Communicate with the Property Manager about repair and maintenance issues • Complete tasks or duties as assigned by Property Manager • Comply with all Management policies and procedures • Report any unsafe or hazardous environments on the property Qualifications and Skills Requirements: In addition to what is listed below, this person must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, organized, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism. o 3+ Years experience in the Residential Maintenance field o General maintenance knowledge in the following areas: o Experience with Manufactured/Mobil Homes o Basic Plumbing (faucets, toilets, garbage disposal, irrigation, etc…) o General Electrical (outlets, GFI, Breakers) o Carpentry o Painting, drywall, caulking o Tile and Carpet Installation o Some HVAC and Appliance experience o Some Roof and Fencing • Dependable, punctual and can anticipate and prioritize tasks on a daily basis. • Ability to organize and finish assigned tasks in a timely manner. • Be able to work under pressure, multi-task and problem solve independently. • Outstanding references from previous employers. • A thorough background check which includes drug, criminal and credit. • Working Transportation & Phone with Internet Capability; • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
