This course provides the first time ACLS learner with AHA ACLS certification for the healthcare worker This is a two day event that covers the lessons necessary to present the learner with an ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) The location of the class will be in the lower level of the Cameron Medical office in the Education classrooms. Each day will be from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm In the first day you will learn the basic BLS CPR techniques along with the additional Advanced Cardiac Life Support algorithms for saving lives in critical healthcare situations. The second day includes scenario situations in which you will use ACLS protocols to prove your knowledge learned in hands on check offs. You will finish the day with the AHA ACLS exam written test. Assistance is with the guidance of 1 or 2 AHA ACLS intructors.
