This course provides the first time PALS learner with AHA PALS certification for the healthcare worker This is a two day event that covers the lessons necessary to present the learner with an PALS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) The location of the class will be in the lower level of the Cameron Medical office in the Education classrooms. Each day will be from 8:30 am- 5:00 pm In the first day you will learn the basic BLS CPR techniques along with the additional Pediatric Advanced Life Support algorithms for saving lives in critical pediatric healthcare situations. The second day includes scenario situations in which you will use PALS protocols to prove your knowledge learned in hands on check offs. You will finish the day with the AHA PALS exam written test. Assistance is with the guidance of 1 or 2 AHA PALS intructors.
