You can look at all our job opportunities at: www.nortekcontrol.com This is a full time position which includes full benefits DAY ONE (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, on site events, Wellness Programs and much more) The Facilities Maintenance 2 installs, maintains, repairs, and/or coordinates appropriate services to machinery, equipment, company vehicles, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems for all company offices. Assists with shipping and receiving operations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: -Conducts periodic facility inspections to determine required maintenance work -Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment -Troubleshoots and makes repairs in a variety of building system including, but not limited to, plumbing, painting, office fixtures, and installations -Repairs and maintains the physical structure of Nortek Control offices -Involved in the relocation of office furniture and equipment as needed -May be required to drive a company vehicle for company business purposes -Responds to facilities issues in an emergency as needed -Assists with packaging items for shipment -Assists with delivering received packages to employees -Will follow specific documented procedures for receiving non-inventory PO deliveries -Understand, support, and execute all work in the established procedures, methods and working requirements -Implements and maintains department policies and standards -Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: -Minimum of 1 years of related experience maintenance trade -High School Diploma or equivalent -1-2 years of experience using Microsoft applications (i.e., Excel, Word, PPT, etc.). -Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics -Current and valid CA driver’s license KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES: -Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities, and work with a sense of urgency -Proven ability to multi-task, set project priorities, establish department/discipline goals and objectives for self -Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PPT, etc.) -Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow individuals to perform the essential functions of the job -Positive attitude, self-motivated and eager to succeed -Ability to effectively & professionally communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.
