Warehouse Supervisor Who we are: an e-commerce company that sells consumer products online What we need: An experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor with exceptional, proven ability to motivate and lead a team of warehouse associates. What our ideal candidate brings to the table: 5-10 years of previous warehouse supervisory experience coupled with versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work hard and motivate a team! It's not an easy job, so you've got to know how to keep the team fresh and happy to come to work every day! This is a working supervisory role – while there is a team in place to handle the workload, we need someone that understands when to jump in and get the work done; someone who sets the tone for the team, and can lead by example. What we bring to the table: generous pay structure, an exceptional benefits package, and resources to help you be successful in this role Must have previous experience with the following equipment: Electric Stand up Reach Truck Electric Speed Jack Electric Order Picker Required Qualifications: · Must be able to physically perform all warehouse jobs including receiving (loading & unloading), put-aways, picking, replenishments, palletizing, and shipping · Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations and best practices · Proven ability to lead continuous process improvement · Proven ability to lead, manage, train, and coach warehouse staff; the ability to positively motivate staff · Proficient in Microsoft Office and ShipStation · Well-versed in cultivating a “safety-first” environment · Working knowledge of California Labor Laws Responsibilities: · Designs warehouse layout to maximize space utilization, productivity and safety · Develops standard operating procedures and performance standards · Develops stock location and order picking strategies to optimize workflow, space utilization, and labor productivity · Operates forklift and trains warehouse staff in safe and efficient use of same · Manage priorities and workflow · Collaborate with offsite HR to submit all employee onboarding paperwork, handle any employee relations issues that arise, and as well as monitoring compliance with regard to local labor laws · Manage the entire employee life-cycle: interviewing, hiring, coaching, performance reviews.
