Responsible for the design, repair, maintenance, resource allocation, and management of the Division’s irrigation systems, drinking fountains and public restrooms. Depending on seasonal needs, this position will allocate 50-80% of assigned workload in the area of irrigation and plumbing systems. Specific assignment or duties may vary based on division needs. Duties outside of irrigation and plumbing will include but are not limited to grounds, open space, “right of way”, and facility maintenance; facility and landscape construction; special event and facility rental support. Provides support and direction to seasonal staff as assigned. Summer hours include 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, Monday - Thursday. Winter hours include 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, Monday - Friday. May require some evenings and weekends. May be assigned “on-call” duty as required.
