Our small, but growing company has an opening for a part-time warehouse employee. This will most likely become a full-time position once we better assess the position and our needs, so please keep this in mind when applying. The qualified candidate will perform an array of functions that include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials which includes breaking down pallets and sorting heavy boxes. You will also be picking, packing, and shipping orders from stock using barcode scanners, as well as managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: • Pick, pack, and ship multiple orders quickly and correctly • Process orders into our systems • Receive stock • Assist in counting physical inventory • Maintain safe and clean work environment • Practice safety standards at all times SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Good organizational and time management skills • Dependable and reliable • 1-2 yrs. previous warehouse experience • Ability to operate lifts and forklifts • Data entry and computer skills, familiarity with FedEx Ship Manager and UPS World Ship software • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with both warehouse and office staff • Must have a valid driver license and pass a background check • Must be reliable and have reliable transportation.
