Description
Compensation: Hourly; $17 - $19 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time
Benefits: Annual 3% - 4% raise; all full-time employee benefits
Job Description: An upper level position with advancement opportunities requiring physical labor, project management skills and excellent communication on job sites and travel within a 350 mile Nashville, TN radius.
Job Conditions: Seasonal - Can be Extreme heat or extreme cold

-OSHA 10 and PPE Preferred; Company willing to send you to training, if needed
- Valid US Driver’s license
Job Responsibilities:
-Managing and motivating a crew of subordinates -- organize, plan and prioritize work needing to be done
-Obtaining information on the job (i.e. reading blueprints, reading tape measure, understanding specifications, understanding work orders)
-Maintaining a safe working environment -- ensure all subordinates wear PPE
-Experience with operating construction equipment (i.e. forklifts, skid steers, bucket trucks, etc...)
-Experience maintaining and repairing equipment on site
-Communicating with DOT officials, subcontractors, general superintendents
-Job site housekeeping (i.e. manual labor, general material handling, tool/truck organizing)
-Basic understanding of carpentry (i.e. building forms)
-Basic understanding of concrete (i.e. scheduling trucks, pouring foundations)
-Submitting weekly paperwork to superiors (i.e. timesheets, safety checklists)
