Machine Operator What we are looking for: Hardworking professionals who can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We appreciate speed and accuracy above all else, so we require a someone who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Positions & Responsibilities Custodial Services: • Sweeping • Trash removal • Monitoring & Tracking B-Grade material • Running a bailer to compact bags • Cleaning & maintaining dust collection equipment Packaging & Warehouse Operations: Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship) • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store) • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization • Report any discrepancies • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers • Operate and perform preventive maintenance on warehouse forklift, sweeper, production equipment and dust collection. • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations Machine Operator: • Monitor gauges, record readings, operate electrical pumps, maintains a clean work area. • General knowledge of production/manufacturing methods • Ability to read gauges and record data in a legible manner and in accordance with established procedures • Ability to understand and follow established work procedures, including mandated safety guidelines • Ability to perform basic math skills • Ability to troubleshoot malfunctions and situations as they arise, notifying appropriate staff of problems beyond scope of normality • Ability to cooperate with all staff Requirements for all positions: • Driver's License & Reliable Transportation • Proven work experience • Good organizational and time management skills • Ability to lift and stack heavy objects consistently (55+ lbs) for an entire shift a PLUS: • Current forklift license
