Kaylie is a gorgeous tabby who purrs with excitement when people visit her room. She is one of the first to greet us when we enter & she quickly requests to be rubbed. She lives with other cats and is a friendly girl. Kaylie would love to spend her days chasing toy mice, napping in the sunbeams or snoozing on the couch. If you're looking for someone to watch your favorite TV shows with, Kaylie is your girl. She promises not to hog the remote! Our process: If you are interested in Kaylie or any of our adorable adoptables, please fill out an adoption application from our website. If we feel it's a good match, we can make plans for a meet & greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake, or you can schedule a visit at the shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
