Birmingham Country Club is a 104 year old private country club that includes golf, racquet sports, pool, and training facilities. The Greens and Grounds maintenance department is looking for employees whom can help us maintain the outside grounds between the dates of April 1st and November 1st. Employees must: be willing to work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 6 am til 2 pm as well as either Saturday or Sunday 5:30 am til 9:30 am. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to work well with others. We provide a great working environment which includes FREE LUNCH Monday through Friday, work clothing (employee polo shirts, waterproof shoe covers, rain jackets, sweatshirts, summer and winter hats, gloves), protective equipment (eye, ear, face), and a generous amount of available overtime. With the help of Ronnisch Construction Group we look forward to beginning this golf season in our brand new Turf Care Center. Featuring updated lockerrooms, cafeteria, fuel/wash stations, and much more. Typical duties of our groundskeepers include but not limited to are: Mowing of golf course turf, weed whipping and blowing, raking sand bunkers, drainage and irrigation repair projects, driving utility carts, operating small equipment - anything to make the golf course shine!. Some experience preferred but not necessary Must be on time everyday Must get along with others - We are a very team and goal oriented staff that takes pride in everything we do Must be a good person
