About Us: Morgan Kingland Realty is an Apartment rental business based in Columbus, OH. We have about 300 rental units, mostly residential. We are looking for handyman services on a per job basis for now with interests in offering full time Maintenance technician pay of $25-35/hr after the trial period. Job Overview: In the maintenance technician role, you will ensure the excellent working condition of the facility’s machinery, fixtures, plumbing, and mechanical and electrical systems. Success in this role will be demonstrated by your ability to identify and resolve any maintenance issues in a timely manner. Some Punch-out/unit turnover work are within the responsibilities for this role as well if there are no active maintenance calls. Maintenance Technician Job Responsibilities and Duties: -Performs routine inspections on mechanical and electrical systems -Requests additional tools and supplies when needed -Works with team to improve maintenance processes and protocols -Handles Unit Turn-over processes -Assists in preparing the maintenance budget and works within said budget -Upholds safety standards when performing tasks -Schedules maintenance tasks Maintenance Technician Preferred Job Requirements: -Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role preferred -Able to Perform basic electrical and plumbing work -Highly organized -HVAC and Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) are preferred, but not required -Must be physically fit and have good manual dexterity -Experience working with power tools, appliances, and cleaning materials Our Website link: 614-486-7755
