Terra Nova Outdoor Living is a landscaping design and production company. The purpose of the Landscaping Project Manager position is to get jobs done on-time and within budget. This person will be hands-on with our landscaping projects, make sure the overall quality of work is perfect and that the customer is delighted and refer us to their friends and family. This person must use good control, and good communication with employees, subcontractors, vendors and customers. This person is very competent and has many years of construction experience and loves what they do. They need to be highly organized with sharp sales skills, and able to learn computer programs quickly. Needs to be excellent in managing several work crews at a time and in time management. Responsibilities include: 1. Managing the scheduling and execution of the job phases for multiple landscape construction jobs. Assigning work crews with the skills needed for each job daily, as well as to maximize production at the job sites. 2. Prepare detailed work orders for the laborers, ensure the instructions are understood, materials are available, and there are no barriers to getting the work done. 3. Make sure the job site is always kept clean and organized. 4. Coordinating with the customer on arrival times of materials and work crews. 5. Visiting each job site daily to ensure all work is being done to the highest quality standard and taking immediate action when deficiencies are found. Correcting personnel then correcting the product so that the customer is delighted. 6. Obtaining materials and subcontractors within the allocated budgets. Preventing production errors which cause cost overruns. 7. Any additional responsibilities are gone over at the job interview. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE! Hiring immediately!
