Great Family Dog for Rehome

I am looking for a new home for Red. After years of attempting to connect with him and give him a happy life, he still does not seem to want to live with us. He is a great dog but seems unhappy and I would love to find him a home where he can be happier. Red is about eight years old. We rescued him when he was one and a half. We do not know his breed but assume he is a terrier mix. He is in excellent health. Neutered. His teeth look great. He is an active boy but will also lounge on the couch. Definitely is more active than your average “senior” dog. Red loves men and gets along well with other dogs and with children. He WILL chase (small animals). The home I think Red would appreciate: one that is not over-crowded where he can get some more one-on-one attention. A home that can give him plenty of exercise but also a decent amount of pets and scratches.
