Supporting the underground utilities division, our Project Foreman will oversee water, sewer, storm drain, UG conduit electric distribution, and various other infrastructure projects. Projects include new construction and replacement work, range from small to large size and complexity, and are typically located in the local market for various private, municipal and other agencies. PERKS Join the Largest Natural Gas Distribution Contractor in the United States: Weekly Payroll Paid; on-the-job training for technical skills; Employee Assistance program benefit; Health Insurance Plan benefit; Retirement Plan benefit RESPONSIBILITIES: *Maintain relationships with Owners, Customers and General contractors *Participate in project meetings as requested, review changes in current scope of work and assist with the required project documents and associated changes in scope *Maintain up to date AZ One Call blue stake requests *Obtain and prepare TCP’s, update Dust Control permits and logs *Layout work, schedule crews and equipment, inventory project materials and calculate import aggregates *Work with project managers to assist with RFI’s, project schedules, initiate change order requests and other project correspondence *Provide accurate project revenue streams, including extra work items, change orders, credits, procurement of material, etc. *Assists with project management duties as requested or require *Perform other duties as requested by leadership Education, Skills, Experience Needed: *High school diploma or equivalent required *Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant construction trade *Knowledge of and skill in successful completion of Water, Sewer and Storm Drain Projects *Mathematical skill to calculate lines and grades and correctly order import materials *Knowledge of project requirements, specifications, permits and drawings *Extensive knowledge of MAG Specifications and various agency MAG supplements *Ability to layout, schedule and adhere to strict project schedules *Ability to properly test and certify various utility installations to meet the various agency & municipal requirements *Good written and verbal communication skills *Ability to read, analyze, and interpret plans, specifications, various agency supplements and various bidding documents to determine scope of work *Ability to initiate change orders and RFI’s and review with project managers & estimating staff *Ability to provide a high level of customer service by answering questions, providing accurate information, and responding to requests on a timely basis *Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first Requirements *Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens *Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify *Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results *Valid driver’s license with clean driving record *Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card With the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities we serve in mind, all candidates who receive an offer of employment will be required to complete a COVID-19 risk assessment; your responses will help us determine an employment start date Equal Employment Opportunity Statement This job description is subject to change at any time.
