JL Construction Corp of West Springfield, MA is looking to hire a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain our construction fleet. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance along with repairs to keep our fleet running smoothly and minimizing downtime. This is a shop-based position with local job site visits as needed. This is a Full time or part time position for the right candidate. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CONSTRUCTION LABORER High School Diploma or GED required OSHA 10 Certification 5+years of relevant experience as a heavy equipment operator Valid Drivers License Hoisting and CDL License preferred but not mandatory Must be punctual, reliable and possess excellent work ethic Willingness to travel locally to various job sites as needed Experience working on the following equipment but not limited to: CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Mack, John Deere, Kubota, Bobcat WORK SCHEDULE This full-time or part-time position typically works days, Monday - Friday and occasional weekends READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
