We are looking for a PT Property Maintenance /Grounds Person to join our team! M-F 8-1:00- earlier on snow days. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE has previous work experience in property maintenance. Has excellent attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and takes pride in the quality of their work. Has knowledge of proper safety precautions. Has basic computer skills (email and internet). Must have an ability to work alone and with a team! Work with our maintenance crew...keeping our property looking beautiful! General grounds keeping duties including but not limited to upkeep and maintenance of all outside areas, clean common areas, parking areas, sidewalks, curbs, helps with trash outs and turns. This is a 231 unit property (for tenants 55 y.o. and older) with a large grounds area- Snow removal in the winter. Duties may require handling and lifting heavy weights and equipment up to one hundred (100) pounds. QUALIFICATIONS One (1) year of experience in grounds maintenance and upkeep Good knowledge of practices, tools, equipment and materials used in grounds maintenance and upkeep; and of safety practices as applied to grounds maintenance and upkeep. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to deal with the public in a positive manner. We love our residents! Must have reliable transportation. This will not be a live-on-site position. Candidate hired will be required to submit proof of identity, employment eligibility, and pass a background check.
