Hello! We are a small, organic farm in Kula looking for some full time help. Farming experience or similar experience is required. As farm work can be a physically demanding activity at times, applicants that enjoy a physical lifestyle and participate in physical activities on a regular basis would be the best fit for a farm hand position. Farm hand duties may include, gathering and cleaning eggs, harvesting fruit, seed starting, planting, fertilizing plants, watering plants, cleaning and maintaining plants, removing old plants, caring for farm animals, mowing, weeding, weed whacking, irrigation repair or install, fence repair and/or install or even at times light construction. Typically work hours are from 8 to 4:30 M-TH and half day on Friday for a total of 36 hours. We are flexible and would entertain less than 36 hours either via less days worked per week or less hours worked per day as required for the right applicant. An Ohana attitude, respect for the land and strong work ethic is required. Sorry no smoking, drinking or drugs of any kind allowed.
