EXPERIENCED APPLICANTS ONLY APPLY PLEASE MAINTENANCE WORKER We are looking for a skilled Maintenance worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs and cleaning. You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensure facilities are tidy and functional. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. The ideal candidate will have experience and solid technical knowledge. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Responsibilities Perform cleaning activities within common hallways & exterior of buildings etc. Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls, painting etc. Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues Do garden/yard upkeep by mowing lawn, collecting trash etc. Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation) Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm) Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations Report to a facilities or maintenance manager & property manager for issues Skills Proven experience as assistant or maintenance supervisor (3+yrs) Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems Experience using hand and electrical tools Very good communication and interpersonal skills Physical stamina and dexterity High school diploma or equivalent Successful completion of an apprenticeship& certifications is a plus BUILDING PORTER We are looking for a porter as part of the building maintenance staff to perform upkeep tasks such as cleaning internal common areas & external areas of the property. You will be responsible for ensuring facilities are tidy and functional. Daily jobs include sweeping, trash removal, snow removal, windows, halls & stairwells, yard weed eating & blowing, & along with additional upkeep to assist the maintenance super. Being reliable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. You must possess manual dexterity and physical stamina. Outside work consists of approximately 50% of the work day, so applicants must be able to work in warm & cold weather. --Experience with porter duties which include indoor & outdoor work (2+ years) ENTRY GATE GUARD We are looking for a person as part of the building maintenance staff to fill the position of Gate Guard. This position will be posted at the entry gate to the loading & courtyard. You will be responsible for helping delivery trucks enter & lead to correct building for deliveries. Direct visitors to the property. Deal with delivery of UPS, FEDEX, AMAZON etc packages for tenants. Upkeep of courtyard area such as sweeping, hosing, flower post, furniture, bikes, mailroom etc. Security of property are all part of this position.
