We carry fresh Asian produce, fruits, meats, pantry staples + the newest Asian American food products. About the Role This role is based out of our fulfillment center in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This is initially a part time position; for the right candidate, there is an opportunity to become a full time employee, depending on performance and business need. The shift hours are about 9:00-4:00 (three days per week); exact days to be determined depending on business and applicant availability. Salary: Commensurate with experience Responsibilities: Assist with daily operational activities (receiving, shelving, preparation of boxes and other materials for order picking) Assist with order picking and outbound shipping Execute open and closing procedures Assist with general warehouse needs, including assembly of warehouse racking and equipment, organization of materials, etc Maintain physical condition of warehouse, including trash removal, and executing warehouse cleaning procedures Ensuring warehouse area operates to agreed standards of hygiene and housekeeping. Assist with inventory control activities, including labeling and storage. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years warehouse experience (preferably in a food or grocery setting). Bilingual English/Mandarin preferred. Knowledge of food and beverage distribution and warehousing. Knowledge and working understanding of OSHA regulations. Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment up to 60 pounds. Intermediate level of computer skills (Google Docs, email) Experience with ERP or inventory management software a plus High degree of professionalism: punctuality; reliability; strong verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills How to apply: Submit an application here:
