JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Removes old roofs, installs roof insulation, felts and bitumens. Performs repairs on leaking roofs. * Inspect built up, single ply and metal roofs for leaks. * Determine materials required for roof repairs, flashing repairs, and the installation of new roofs. * Performs related work as required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITIES * Considerable knowledge of the tools, equipment, materials, and methods utilized in roof repair and installation. Skilled in the use of appropriate tools and equipment. * Considerable knowledge of the hazards and safety requirements of the trade. * Knowledge of various roofing materials and standard specifications for different roof types. * Ability to remove and install roofs. * Ability to work at heights on flat surfaces. * Ability to climb ladders and set up work requirements in a safe manner. * Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. * Skilled in the use of appropriate tools and equipment. * Ability heat weld a plus. Realiza reparaciones en los techos con fugas. * Inspeccione las capas acumuladas, de una sola capa y metálicas para detectar fugas. * Determina los materiales requeridos para las reparaciones del techo, las reparaciones intermitentes y la instalación de nuevos techos. * Realiza el trabajo relacionado según lo requerido. CONOCIMIENTO, HABILIDAD Y HABILIDADES * Conocimiento considerable de las herramientas, el equipo, los materiales, y los métodos utilizados en la reparación del tejado Y la instalación. Con experiencia en el uso de herramientas y equipos adecuados. * Conocimiento considerable de los peligros y los requisitos de seguridad del comercio. * Conocimiento de varios materiales para techos y especificaciones estándar para diferentes tipos de techos. * Capacidad para quitar e instalar techos. * Capacidad para trabajar en alturas sobre superficies. * Capacidad para subir escaleras y establecer los requisitos de trabajo de una manera segura. * Capacidad de entender y seguir instrucciones orales y escritas. * Con experiencia en el uso de herramientas y equipos adecuados. * Capacidad y el calor.
