Boys and girls ages 6-10, are invited to walk the plank at FoxView and be pirates for the day! Ahoy there Mateys! We have something FUN TO DO that just sailed in! Pirate School! Saturday, February 27 9am-12noon Boys and Girls, Ages 6-10 years old $35 each Limited to only 25 spots! What does "Arrr" mean? Come find out as boys and girls ages 6-10, are invited to walk the plank at FoxView and be pirates for the day! Learn about actual pirates who sailed the seas and see the weapons they used. Learn how to read a map and use a compass for burying your own treasure! Activities include making your own pirate flag and learning why it was important. This is edutainment as everyone learns geography, history and interesting facts about real-life pirates while winning prizes playing games and hearing salty (but true!) stories. You may be speaking like a pirate by the end of day! And everyone who passes the final exam receives an actual diploma as a certified pirate! Prizes! Drinks and snacks provided! A jolly good time! Additional prize for those who arrive in pirate costume. Due to Covid safety precautions and guidelines, students will be more than 6 feet apart, masked while indoors, and each child will have his or her individual table for personal workspace. Parents or guardians will be asked to sign a release allowing students to be photographed for promotional purposes on FoxView's website, unless parent or guardian indicates otherwise.
