From traditional methods utilizing natural tooth-supported solutions to more advanced applications for removable implant-retained overdentures, this program focuses on the additional benefits for both the patient and clinician when using the gold standard of attachment systems. Topics discussed include diagnosis and treatment planning with failing or terminal dentition, patient and component selection, processes, techniques, and views on different retention modalities with clinical cases. HANDS- ON INCLUDES: Armamentarium review, Surgical placement of 2 implants in a mandibular model, chairside pick-up of overdentures, and impressions for lab fabrication. LEARNING OBJECTIVES: 1.
