We are an Apartment complex located in South Palm Springs and are looking to hire an extra full-time Maintenance Technician for our team. Our property is very nice and clean and the tenants are very kind and nice. By working with us you can finally achieve that Work - Time - Family balance. You will become part of a small team that are like family (everybody on our team had been with our company between 10 to 25 years). Our schedule it is Monday to Friday (9:00am - 5:00 PM) and once a week you are on call for Emergency Maintenance Calls. The most important skill for our maintenance is to have a professional attitude and appearance, and to be able to work together with others. We prefer previous maintenance experience, but new graduates are strongly encouraged to apply for this position too. We may be able to train and to enhance the skills level of your experience and knowledge by providing hands-on training on our property. Customer services skills are very important, as you will interact with our tenants. QUALIFICATIONS and DUTIES: The perfect candidate for the position would have experience and skills in all trades relevant to general residential maintenance including but not limited to: Residential maintenance skills. Experience in painting, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and appliance (dishwashers, washers, stoves, etc.) installation and repair. Customer service oriented with a strong work ethic and professional attitude and appearance. Completing maintenance service requests of current residents. Responding to emergency service calls when necessary. Maintaining the property, buildings, leasing office and all recreation facilities. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation and to have the right to legally work in the USA. Rate of pay is 14.00/Hr + free of rent 1 bedroom apartment and negotiable based on experience of applicant. You are guaranteed 40 Hrs/week. After 90 days probationary period, a free of rent - 1 bedroom apartment will be offered. Also our company pays for 70% of your medical insurance. After one year of work we offer 1 week paid vacation. All candidates must pass a pre-employment hair drug screen and a criminal background check. REQUIREMENTS: Must be physically able to lift up to 50 Lbs.
