Description

I am interested in paying $300 to anyone who can chat with and convince a ”house painter” into returning items taken from my home. The money will be paid upon recovery. I am an antique toy and game collector and this reward is for the return of a pair of matching toy cap pistols given to me by my father 65 years ago that were on display in my Living Room. I was paying this guy to repair and paint a dry wall when he removed these and other items from my house, He uses his status as a “house painter” to gain access to people’s homes. The "painter," Altay Kugay Gonzales, aka Altay Kugay, aka Altay F. Kugay, aka Altay F. Kugaygonzales, and even, aka "Al the Painter," (See photo) dba "New Image Painting," lives in San Jose at 605 Rebecca Way and Moorpark Ave., unless, of course, he's in the penitentiary, again, and bought his painting supplies at Campbell Av. and San Tomas Aquino Rd. at Kelly-Moore Paints, where "Al" was recommended as a reputable painter. He is short and has a full head of black hair now with a moustache and goatee. The cap pistols have great sentimental value but I am only able to offer $300 for their recovery. They were manufactured circa 1955 by Hubley, Inc., when my father bought them for me, and are replicas of flintlock pistols of the 18th Century that were on display in my Living Room. The barrels are superimposed "over-under" on each pistol and the hammers are side-by-side percussion-lock replicas of flintlock on a brass metallic plate with inlaid, ornate carvings. The body around the barrels and stock is brown translucent "Bakelite" plastic and the stock grips are a "bird's-head" style by design (See photos). One "bird's-head" handle is broken on the right-side and a piece is missing in the shape of a curved handwritten, script-style capital letter "M" with the sharp-pointed center of the "M" sticking out into the palm of the right hand while holding it. Kugay used aliases and is an unlicensed contractor, which is illegal, although his business card said he was licensed, according to the District Attorney's Office. This Reward is real and will hopefully help end Kugay's dubious career and keep this from happening to anyone else. These toy pistols are an American symbol that I was proud to display in my living room. He also took a Winchester Western-style, lever-action replica, which is worth an additional remuneration.
