Press release from the Newton South High School PTSO: February 13, 2021 The Swimming and Diving teams broke 5 school records yesterday at the DCL virtual meet. Diver Esther Dansinger improved her old marks in both the 6-Dive and 11-Dive format. Nico Hensch broke a 21-year-old 100 backstroke record! Elisabeth Nesta, Zoe Zalkind, Jada Green and Claire Hooper broke the 4×100 Freestyle Relay record. Nico Hensch, Daniel Chan, Shayan Bakhtyari and Felix Song broke the 200 Medley Relay record. Oustanding meet for the Lions that are waiting for the final league results to be released on Sunday evening.
