Industrial Maintenance Technician $24-$28 DOE Location: San Jacinto, CA Schedule: Three Shifts – flexibility for any shift requested Duration: Temp to Hire opportunity Summary/Objective: The maintenance technician position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, and is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production and facility/plant equipment. Job Duties: Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance and repairs during machine service.Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance and service.Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GEDMachine maintenance mechanic and CNC machinist experience required5 years of manufacturing and equipment repair and maintenance requiredMill and lathe work experience preferredMust be able to lift up to 50lbs, and be willing to work in a hot and noisy environment.
