The chat takes place from 10-11 a.m. This free supportive program is open to all parents; registration is not necessary. The Parent Chat can help parents who might be Wondering if their child is experimenting with drugs or alcoholStriving to create balance in their household and manage family and student stressSeeking guidance about rule setting and boundaries around social media and technology The Families Connected Parent Chat is held every Monday in partnership with Beach Cities Health District and South Bay Families Connected. It is a free support group led by a licensed professional from the Thelma McMillen Center for Alcohol and Drug Treatment at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.
