UPPER WEST SIDE, NY — Patch has compiled a list of events Upper West Siders might want to know about in the coming week. From community board meetings to musical streams to conversations with New York Times best selling authors, here are the dates to know for the week of Feb 16. Ongoing Events: Lincoln Center Concert Series: In memory of the lives lost during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lincoln Center hosted a weekly "Memorial For Us All" concert series. The concert series has ended but you can watch all the performances on the center's website. New York Philharmonic: The Philharmonic is still doing its part to bring music to New Yorkers. The symphony is releasing live audio recordings of concerts on their website on a routine basis, such as a recent upload David Zinman conducting Beethoven. You can find the performances here. Nightly Met Opera Streams: In an effort to brighten the lives of New Yorkers, the Met Opera offers a different presentation from the company's "Live in HD" series each day. The performance is available for 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. the next day. You can watch the concerts on the Met's website. Around The Upper West SideJess Walter In Conversation With You on Wednesday at 7 p.m. — Symphony Space: "Join us for an intimate conversation with author Jess Walter on his most recent work. Named a "Best Book of 2020" by The New York Times, Esquire, The Washington Post, Fresh Air, and countless more, The Cold Millions tell the story of brotherhood, love, sacrifice, and betrayal set against the panoramic backdrop of an early twentieth-century America that eerily echoes our own time." Front Row Mainstage — "In Earnest" on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. — Lincoln Center: "Experience the peerless artistry of CMS with newly curated full-length HD concerts featuring archival video recordings woven together into never-before-heard concert pairings. Intermission will feature a Q&A with the artists. Free admission." The program will include Schubert's Quartettsatz in C minor for Strings and Tchaikovsky's Trio in A minor. You can watch here. Science Sense Tour: Dinosaurs and Fossils on Saturday at 11 a.m. — American Museum of Natural History: "Through verbal description and discussion, explore the dioramas and animals of the Bernard Family Hall of North American Mammals, which offers a snapshot of North America's rich environmental heritage, including many depictions of national parks and monuments."
