I am looking for musicians in the Boise/Meridian area who are serious about writing music and starting a band. This includes writing songs and practicing often. My goal is to work quickly to play in Treefort or any other local shows as they open up. The goal is to record a demo and start touring as soon as possible. This means your dream/goal is to grind in music. I already have originals for us to work on but I am not stuck on my songs only. I would like us to all write songs together. I have lots of equipment for recording and drumming, but you will have to have your own equipment for your respective instrument. This is a rock band, but not a traditional blues-rock band. I want to be able to write all types of songs that we feel would be best. My influences include classic rock (Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc), rap, RnB, country, blues, and really anything that sounds good. I am 27 and looking for people within the 21-35 age range.
