Renee’s Garden is looking for great people to join their team in their Boulder, CO warehouse. We are seeking a Machine Operator to work 2nd shift (11:30am to 8:00pm) to run our seed packing machine as well as other warehouse packing duties. Primary Role/ Responsibility The position is responsible for operating the seed packing machines with accurate weights, seed types and general maintenance. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Responsible for operating a seed packing machine • Responsible for high quality control including accurate seed selection, packet weights, and overall quality of the packets • Hand packing seed packets when required • General maintenance of the machines including cleaning, greasing, and oiling as needed. • Maintain accurate and orderly process • Other duties as assigned Knowledge/Skills/Abilities • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time • Ability to perform repetitive actions during every shift • Use of ladders and scissor lifts • Understanding and use of scales • Basic computer skills • High attention to detail • Ability to follow directions • Adapts easily to rapidly changing requests, processes and procedures • Ability to troubleshoot • Performing in and maintaining a safe work environment • Ability to work independently and as a member of an established team Direct Reports • None Education • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required Experience • Machine Operations and general knowledge of tools and machinery helpful but not required. order processing, shipping, and receiving experience helpful but not required Physical Demands/Office Environment • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis • Warehouse environment that includes occasional loud noises • Ability to move throughout building including occasional use of stairs • Masks and gloves are provided for all employees • Closed toe shoes are required FLSA Category • Hourly/Non-Exempt Competitive compensation starting at $15.50 to $16.50 per hour based on experience Working at Renee’s Garden Renee’s Garden offers the following benefits for regular, full-time employees after the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment and an average of 32 hours or more per week. • Excellent benefit package including medical with Kaiser Permanente, and dental benefits with Delta Dental • A Safe-harbor 401(k) plan with eligibility to participate after 1 year of service and 1,000 hours of service • Ability to purchase additional voluntary benefits through Aflac • Occasional spot bonuses • Paid breaks during work shifts • Vacation based on hours worked for full-time employees • 7 paid holidays annually for both full and part-time employees We are proud to be an EEO employer.
