Seasonal position open for growing, harvesting, packaging, and processing organic herbs, greens, and specialty vegetables, 8:00 - 4:30, Monday to Friday, March through October 2021 at Purple Sage Farms, a Certified Organic family farm in Middleton, ID for over 30 years. Desired Skills and Experience: Be physically active for entire work day Lift 50 lbs consistently Work in all weather conditions Perform repetitive work with efficiency, consistency, and accuracy Ability to learn new skills quickly Experience in working with gas powered tools like a mower or weedeater Harvesting or planting crops/plants by hand Pulling weeds using hands and tools like a hoe Drip irrigation system installation and maintenance Experience packaging produce or other products on a line Knowledge of different crop plants Ability to work under sanitary conditions in a commercial kitchen while packaging Compensation: Beginning wage is $10 to $15 per hour depending on experience Performance evaluations may lead to pay increases at multiple times throughout the season Paid time off Paid daily lunch breaks End of season bonus Please email a resume to [email protected].
