Emergency Service Water & Fire Damage mitigation company has an immediate opening for an experienced remediation technician / Carpet Cleaning. We are a 24/7 restoration company looking for a compassionate, responsible, and mature person to help homeowners who have sustained water, mold, or fire damage to their home. Candidate must be a team player and put other's needs first. We are looking for an experienced mitigation/Carpet Cleaning technician, preferably with IICRC Certification, The key attributes we need on our team include: * Minimum 2 Years experience in the water / fire / mold / carpet and upholstery remediation field. * IICRC certification in water, fire, or mold is preferred. * Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. * Clean and professional appearance, * An excellent driving record * Must live within a 30min drive to Avondale. * Xactimate knowledge is a major plus * Availability to work after hours / holidays when needed The emergency mitigation technician is responsible for jobs from start to finish which typically includes: * Water Extraction. * Carpet Cleaning * Performing demolitions and light construction tasks. * Setting up and monitoring drying equipment. * Setting up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures. * Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged. * Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment * Providing updates to your direct supervisor daily. * Must maintain a safe work record and identify potentially unsafe working scenarios or conditions. * Good communication skills, mechanical and technical skills. * Driving company vehicle as needed. * Upon returning to branch, turn in all payments and paperwork to designated person. * Upholding all company safety policies. * Upholding all company policies and procedures. * Keeping the warehouse / Office and Vehicles clean at ALL Times * Other tasks as assigned
