K Kern Painter Job Responsibilities Job Description: Painting at various commercial and multi-family jobs sites to satisfy the needs of our clients. As a valued employee you will receive a text nightly confirming your location for the next day. New employees will meet their crew leader at the designated time at the address provided. The crew leader will guide employees through the first 30-90 days helping them achieve the skills to needed to become independent in the work place with the ultimate goal for new employees to become a crew leader as well. Reports to: General Manager and Operations Manager with assistance from Field Managers Responsibilities: • Get to location on time and talk to property manager, maintenance workers or appropriate contact at each site. • Substrate preparation for painting including filling holes, sanding, caulking and cleaning. • Complete the scope of work including interior or exterior painting. • Learn, refine or perform drywall repairs including full hangs, small holes, and drywall replacement. • Cleaning up jobsite during or after completion of a job.
