Responsibilities Coordinate with Superintendent to complete installation and repair of irrigation systems. Essential Duties: • Take off quantities for irrigation systems from plans. • Estimating ability for repairs and small install projects. • Design of irrigation systems as requested by the Superintendent. • Layout and installation of irrigation systems on site • As-Built preparation for irrigation systems • Ordering and acquiring of irrigation parts for projects • Record keeping of irrigation materials quantities used on each project or repair. • Understanding water output and adjusting systems • Control systems setup and adjustments • Ability to complete a wide range of repairs, underground and aboveground, including timers • Complete work orders • Fall blowouts and spring startups of irrigation systems Qualifications • Basic knowledge of irrigation design and construction practices • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team dynamic • Ability to meet deadlines, accept direction, and learn new skills. • Great communication (verbal and written) and time management skills. • Ability to lift 100+ pounds and ability to bend, lift and twist all day. • Valid Drivers License Preference • Three years’ experience preferred. • Familiarity with plant material, both weeds and ornamentals • Bilingual (English and Spanish) Compensation and Benefits: • $15 - $20/hr DOE • Medical and dental insurance benefits available • Retirement benefits available • 40+ hours per week, including overtime Contact: • Marcé Villanueva, Groundskeeping Foreman • 509-881-7012
