Overview Starkweather Roofing is seeking an experienced candidate to fill a position of Roofing Service Technician. Our ideal candidate will be one that is committed to keeping Starkweather Roofing as a premier commercial roofing company, be able to communicate efficiently and effectively, possess roofing knowledge and necessary skills in order service our customers throughout the state. Starkweather Roofing has consistent workload throughout the year and opportunities for advancement. EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY: Minimum 18 years of age Successful background check Successful Pre-Employment Drug Screen 2-5 years Roofing experience required Knowledge of all roofing systems (preferred) Valid Driver’s License Preferred (preferred) Excellent People Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. Preferred to hold knowledge of all roof systems including but not limited to cold applied B.U.R., torch applied Modified Bitumen, E.P.D.M., Heat Welded TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coatings, Sheet Metal and related roof accessories. REPORTS TO: Service Manager DETAILED JOB FUNCTIONS: Maintain site safety compliance Develop and maintain good customer communication and relations Maintain trucks stocked and cleaned inside and out at all times Ability to work on Saturdays during Monsoon season Report and document job progress and completion on company online work order system Utilize industry standard manufacturer approved repair techniques Complete daily assignments in a timely manner with completion of proper paperwork We are an equal opportunity employer Full time employment, Phoenix, AZ and Surrounding Areas Job Type: Full-time Experience: Roofing - Service: 2 - 5 years (Required) License: driver license (Preferred) This is the career you have been looking for!
