We return freedom and independence to the elderly and disabled by installing and servicing a variety of products including stair lifts, ramps, platform lifts, patient lifts, wheelchair lifts, bath safely products and pool safety products. We are searching for a Positive, Friendly, Energetic and Empathic person to join our team in the role of Handyman Installer with growth into a Service Technician who likes to work hard and be nice to others. We are looking for dedicated, critical-thinking problem solver, who shares our passion to improve the lives of our clients through custom mobility solutions. If you are good with your hands and love working with tools, then we have the perfect job for you. Daily duties will be with a partner or solo as jobs dictate. You will be providing in-home installation services for Grab Bars, Patient Lifts, Tub Cuts, Railings/Banisters and Ramps and more. Must have a construction background and be comfortable with power tools. We will provide a company wrapped van and a full set of tools. Responsibilities: • Install home modifications for safer environments such as barrier free baths, grab bars, railings, door widening and more. • Be courteous, pleasant and cheerful. • Recognize that we are providing a vital service to our clients. • Communicate effectively with your team. • Ensure safe operation and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment. • Maintain and accurately account for inventory. • Consistently follow company procedures and processes. Minimum Competencies: • Good character and great attitude is a must. • Candidates must have a track record of reliability and ability to be at work on time. • Carpentry position or similar that involved installation of the above referenced items. • Customer-centered, aim to please approach and attitude. • Basic computer skills are helpful. • Technical and/or mechanical experience is a plus, but we will train the right candidate on our lift equipment. • Be able to lift 100lbs. • Electrical and/or Plumbing experience and/or licensing is a plus. • Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a background check.
