Toughest decision in years. This is Ezekiel, who happily answers to Zeke. He’s a full pedigreed blue heeler, whelped on Oct. 23, 2019. He’s not neutered nor chipped, but otherwise he’s in excellent health, and I have had him examined and cared for by great vets since the day after I picked him up at 8 weeks and a day. He just got his 3 year rabies shots, and takes Nextguard monthly for fleas, and I’ve never seen one on him. He’s a heeler through and through. He knows about 15 commands (look at me, sit, settle, up, down, off, stay, wait, leave it, come, fetch/get it, where is your (ball, Frisbee, bone, toy) and obeys most of them most of the time. But, he’s still a teenager, and VERY curious, so I’ve not been successful training him to behave off leash in a world of distractions. Anyway, he’s just a great guy. He’s super loyal and affectionate, and he’s my best friend. Unfortunately, I’ve made the tough decision to return to SE Asia. And the more I look at my options for bringing him, the more I’m convinced that what is best for both of us is finding him the best possible home here. So, I’m looking for a GREAT home for Zeke. While I’m sure he’ll adjust to any loving family, it would be ideal to home him with people who already understand these amazing and unique dogs. We’re currently located in SE Georgia, but I’ll work with anyone who seems like a really good fit and arrange to get him to his next, best home. IM me if you’re interested, and we can examine the fit.
