Larger CT. Fence and guiderail contractor looking for an assistant production manager. Job duties include, but not limited to, assist in morning truck inspections. Planning and high-level oversite of all shop and yard activities needed to support daily operations of the residential and commercial fence divisions. Monitor shop/yard production quality and labor hour utilization. Oversite of shop/yard staff to ensure paperwork is processed timely. Assist with inventory management. Proof material take offs. Meet in person or by phone at the end of day with Scheduling manager and Superintendents to discuss upcoming material/production requirements. Participate in weekly sales meetings. Must have previous construction and personnel supervisory experience. Required to pass a physical and drug test. A valid CT driver's license and OSHA10 card are required and must be able to get a DOT Medical Card. Medical, holiday, vacation & other benefits included. Starting pay based on experience level.
