As you are aware, the Open Mic at Footnote have been canceled for a while. So are concerts and performances, but the big stars are finding ways to perform on-line. So let’s take a cue from them and have some fun! Send me your videos or audio files of you performing and I will post them on our blog spot so that we can watch them the evening of the 4th Tuesday of the month when we would hold our regular Open Mic at Footnote Events. Afraid to perform in public? Here is your chance! Afraid to make a mistake? Take as many takes as it takes to get it right! (that’s my take on alliteration). Have a family member or friend who plays that is not local and can’t make our Open Mics, here is their chance! If you send an audio file, send a picture too so that we can see you! You do not need fancy recording equipment. Your phone will work just fine as a recording device! I can edit the files, so if there is a long pause between the time that you start the recording and you start performing don’t worry, I can adjust that. Sorry, I don’t have Auto Tune!
